At Nona Cloud Music Studio, annual performance and evaluation events are an integral part of the learning process, providing students with clear goals and meaningful opportunities to apply what they learn .

Our approach emphasizes long-term development, building technical confidence, musical understanding, and independence through structured preparation and regular feedback. As part of the program, students participate in:

Yearly Music Performance Assessment (MPA) Exam

Our MUSIC PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT (MPA) Exam is held annually during the SPRING SEMESTER (on a Saturday). This assessment is designed to provide a structured yet flexible framework for ongoing progress, allowing our students to showcase their own musical interests and enhance their performance skills. We’ve meticulously crafted this curriculum to not only challenge our students to achieve musical excellence in performance and technique but also to keep them motivated.  Each level has performance and technical requirements that progress logically from beginner through early advanced levels. During the MPA exam, students are evaluated individually by a judge on their performances. Upon completion of the exam, they  will receive a detailed evaluation report and a Certificate of Achievement.

Annual Recital

Our annual recital is a celebration of progress, preparation, and musical growth. It provides students with the opportunity to share their work in a positive, supportive performance environment.

To maintain the quality and integrity of our program, recital participation is reserved for students who demonstrate consistent preparation and progress throughout the academic year. Only students who participate in the Yearly Music Performance Assessment (MPA) Exam and receive ratings of A+ or A are invited to perform and receive trophies at the recital in May

This approach ensures that the recital remains a meaningful and rewarding experience, reinforcing the value of thoughtful preparation, dedication, and sustained effort. Our goal is for each recital to build confidence, strengthen self-esteem, and promote a lasting love of music through achievement earned over time.
