INTRO LESSON & PLACEMENT SESSION

All new students begin with a one-hour, paid, one-on-one Intro Lesson & Placement Session. This individualized session allows us to assess the student’s current level, musical background, and learning needs while providing a meaningful introduction to our teaching approach. Based on the session, we determine appropriate placement and whether our program is the right fit for the student.

Why we believe in one-hour lessons

At Nona Cloud Music Studio, all lessons are 60 minutes in length.

Our teaching philosophy is rooted in the conservatory tradition in which we were trained, where one-hour private lessons have long been the standard. While learning musical pieces is an important part of every lesson, meaningful musical development involves much more than repertoire alone. Students need time to develop technique, reading skills, rhythm, musicianship, and effective practice habits. One-hour lessons provide the opportunity to address these areas in a thoughtful and balanced way, helping students build a strong foundation for long-term musical growth, greater confidence, and lasting enjoyment of music.

Enrollment is offered when the program is a good fit for the student’s readiness and goals.
